Metro editor Mike Trautmann and managing editor Jean Porter are among the staff who have been recently laid off from The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Kentucky. Trautmann joined the paper in January 2008 as assistant metro editor and was previously the assistant city editor for the Argus Leader.
