Jim Loney has been named team leader for the breaking news team of the Washington bureau at Reuters. Loney replaces David Storey who will now oversee the foreign policy team. Loney previously served as an editor for the World Desk in Washington since 2012. He has also held the position of deputy bureau chief in Baghdad, as well as reported from Miami and Los Angeles. Loney joined Reuters in 1995.
