News director Greg Caputo will retire from Chicago’s WGN-TV at the end of June 2014. Caputo joined the station as news director in 2002. Prior to his time at WGN, he was the news director of Boston’s WLVI-TV, also a Tribune station, and  vice president and news director at WFLD-TV, Chicago’s Fox affiliate.
