Steve Capus has joined CBS News as executive editor and will also serve as executive producer of CBS Evening New with Scott Pelley, beginning July 7. He was previously president of NBC News from September 2005 until February 2013. Capus replaces Patricia Shevlin, who left as EP of the newscast in March and is now at 60 Minutes. Find CBS News on Twitter or Facebook.
