Several staff changes have been announced by the Chicago Tribune. Mike Kellams has been named associate managing editor overseeing business coverage. He most recently oversaw sports coverage as associate managing editor, serving in this role since March 2009. Taking Kellams’ place overseeing sports is Joe Knowles, who most recently oversaw the Tribune’s presentation and copy editing as associate managing editor. He has been with the Chicago Tribune Media Group since 1990. Lastly, Michael Levwho previously served as associate managing editor for business, will leave his role (replaced by Kellams) to join the paper’s editorial board.
