Political news site PolicyMic has announced Bryan Graham as editor for its new sports vertical that launched this week. He was most recently a multimedia journalist for Sports Illustrated, serving as editor, writer and producer. Graham has also written freelance for several outlets, including The Atlantic, Esquire, The Guardian, The Village Voice and Philadelphia magazine. PolicyMic’s new coverage will focus on sports in the greater context of society, culture, economics and politics. It accompanies further editorial initiatives from the site, such as an entrepreneurism vertical announced earlier this year. PolicyMic is aimed at the Milennial generation, attempting to package news on business, politics, culture, technology and media for a younger generation.
