Deborah Crowe has left the Los Angeles Business Journal to pursue independent journalism. She was a staff reporter and web editor for the Journal, focusing on coverage of the healthcare and biotechnology industries in Los Angeles. Crowe joined the Journal staff in 2005 after working with the Ventura County Star, KnightRidder.com, Forum Community News and the Bay Area News Group. No direct replacement has been announced, but deputy managing editor Steve Silkin will be overseeing the site’s content going forward. Follow the LA Business Journal on Twitter for updates on the City of Angels’ industries.
