Katherine Green has joined Tribune Broadcasting Company as senior vice president of news. She previously served as senior vice president and managing editor at HLN from December 2011 until November 2013. Prior to that, she held a similar role at CNN International. Tribune Broadcasting owns and operates 23 major-market television stations, including the superstation WGN, which can be viewed in more than 50 million homes outside of Chicago via cable and satellite services.
