Time Inc. has announced that award-winning group editor Sid Evans will be taking the reigns at Southern Living as editor in chief. Evans rejoined Time Inc. in 2011 as a group editor, a role that he will continue with. He takes over for Lindsay Bierman who had been editor for the publication since 2010 and will be joining the University of North Carolina as chancellor of the arts.
