Mark Bracco has been named executive vice president of programming and development for Dick Clark Productions, a newly created role that signals a move by the company to beef up programming staff. Bracco is stepping down from his previous role as vice president of alternative series and specials for ABC Television Network, in which he oversaw ABC’s awards shows, such as the Oscars and the American Music Awards. Dick Clark Productions produces many live television events, such as the Golden Globe Awards, Billboard Music Awards and Academy of Country Music Awards as well as series like FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance.” Follow DCP on Twitter for further developments.
