Jon Fine and David Whitford have both joined the staff of Inc. in editorial roles, the first new hires since James Ledbetter was named editor in January. Fine joins the magazine staff as executive editor, a newly created position. He most recently served as the editorial director for Magnum Photos, and has also contributed to CNBC as an on-air commentator, wrote a media column for BusinessWeek and covered print media for Advertising Age. Whitford returned to Inc. last month and is serving as editor-at-large, previously a senior writer for the publication from 1994 to 1996. He most recently served as an editor-at-large for Fortune.
