Los Angeles Times reporter Jessica Garrison has announced her departure from the paper to join BuzzFeed‘s growing investigative news team in May. She will remain based in Los Angeles alongside fellow LA Times alum Ken Bensiger, who joined the site as an investigative news reporter in February. Additionally, Buzzfeed’s community manager Lili Salzberg left to join Secret.ly, a non-editorial platform that provides users with a space to speak freely and anonymously among their online social circles. She was based in New York.
