David Letterman will step down as host of CBS’s Late Show when his contract ends in 2015. While no replacement has been named, the Internet is already rife with speculation about who will replace the late night legend. Letterman first came to prominence as a frequent guest on the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson, and later hosted Late Night with David Letterman on NBC from 1982 until moving to CBS in 1993 to launch the Late Show.
