Carl Kasell, resident scorekeeper of NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!, will retire this spring after a career spanning five decades . The 79-year-old radio personality started his career at NPR in 1975, and went on to become an industry icon as a founding anchor of Morning Edition in 1979. He has been with Wait Wait… since its inception in 1998.
