Are you ready for The Oscars? In its 86th year, these awards have long been a top event for the film (and fashion!) industry.

Cision’s Portugal office wanted to find out which nominees for Best Picture had the coveted place of most media mentions. They went to work using Cision PR Software and found these results:

The team analyzed 702 million English language news stories to find the winner. This coverage was monitored by Cision’s global monitoring system, which covers more than 85 thousand websites from all over the world on a daily basis.

The big winner in media mentions is “Gravity” with over 102,000 news stories published, followed by “12 Years a Slave” and “American Hustle.”
