The Atlantic has announced two internal staff promotions. Eleanor Barkhorn has been named senior editor after serving as a senior associate editor for the magazine since April 2012. She originally joined The Atlantic as an associate editor in June 2009. Additionally, Chris Heller has been upped to senior associate editor.
