Jim Love produces content for “That’s the Law,” a weekly call-in show covering all aspects of law, including divorce and criminal law. “The point obviously is not to give legal advice to folks but to better educate them as to what the law is in Texas on some matters,” Love says.
Since the show is caller-driven, he is not open to guest pitches or lengthy product releases. “We generally do not do guests and probably would use very little, if anything, sent to us for the show,” Love says. “Just keep it short and get to the point.” Pitch him by e-mail at least three weeks in advance. Include a clear description in the subject line.
“That’s the Law” airs Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. on KLVI-AM, a Commercial Talk radio station based in Beaumont, Texas. In addition to being a producer for the station, Love is an operations manager, program director and on-air host.
