For a long time now, users have been asking for the ability to target regional media outlets with their press releases.  With the official launch of targeted media digests they now have the ability to do just that.  What’s more, we’ve also created four media digests that also will allow them to target trade publications in information technology, health & fitness, general business and travel & hospitality.

If you put out a $140 or $200 release you will be able to add your press release into one targeted media digest and if you use the $360 package you will be able to include your press release into two targeted media digests.  In addition, you can also purchase inclusion into additional targeted media digests for $50 each.

Adding your press release into a targeted media digest couldn’t be easier.  In the advanced press release features menu, simply click on ‘Edit Media Digests.’  This will open an expandable menu that will allow you to select your targeted media digests.  When you have finished click ‘Save’, and voila – you are finished.

Once your release has gone out it will be included with that day’s targeted media digest and will be sent out to hundreds of regional media outlets and trade publications based on your selection.
